Get Ready to Run
Dear Team Christi,
Glory to God, I just returned home from ministering at Pastor Drenda Keesee’s Happy Life Women’s Conference and oh boy, did we have a move of God! The honor of ministering alongside my big sisters, Nancy Dufresne, Denise Renner, and Bernadette Smith, women I highly respect, was a holy privilege. When I shared the Healed Heart message with hundreds of women who came from 23 states and Canada, the altar was filled with those who were ready to declare an end to mourning and get their joy back! Also, the September book signings to celebrate the launch of Healed Heart, My Journey from Heartbreak to Wholeness, were so much fun. Women stood in long lines and patiently waited to share with me how their hope was restored when they received this word from heaven, Jesus is the Healer of the brokenhearted.
THANK YOU for all you give in prayer and finances to support our heavenly assignment. Be encouraged you will receive reward for every heart healed, every hope restored, and every dream brought back to life. I wish you could see how after hands are laid on those in the prayer line, their countenance shifts from eyes filled with tears, to faces that light up with a smile. As I was praying over what to share this month, I thought about a revelation I received in a time of prayer before leaving for the conference in Ohio. At the beginning of my heart healing journey my heart was so broken, I could only take one step of faith forward each day. (After my late husband Mylon passed, just getting out of bed required faith!) Eventually, that one step led to two and finally I was able to “walk by faith.” As I grew stronger, that pace grew faster and I even had a skip in my step. But NOW is the time for us to…RUN! Oh, my goodness, did I rejoice, shout and praise at that word from God (and yes, I even ran a little in my home. :)
Jesus is coming soon and it’s time to RUN in the plan of God!
This agrees with Isaiah 40:31 NKJV, “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, THEY SHALL RUN and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” As I’ve waited on the Lord, He has restored my strength mentally, emotionally and physically. I love this “run” reference in First Corinthians 9:24-27 NLT, “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win!” Then Paul explains, “I run with purpose in every step.” Time is short. Heaven is calling us to step out in faith and RUN with PURPOSE.
Hebrews 12:1 thrills me because I believe Mylon is cheering us all in the great cloud of witnesses: “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and LET US RUN with endurance the race that is set before us.” If you’re ready to run please say with me:
“King Jesus, I choose to run in the plan you have for me. I run with purpose. I run with endurance. I RUN TO WIN!”
As you sow your precious seed this month, be encouraged that as you’ve read the vision, now you can run with it as Habakkuk 2:2 promises, “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.” Along with our anointed prayer team, we believe you run your race and finish your course with JOY. Together, we’re taking a whole bunch of people with us to heaven!
