You Are Enough
Dear Team Christi,
Glory to God, we’ve passed another milestone. It’s hard to believe but it was on this day three years ago that Mylon graduated to heaven. I’ll never forget the moment he took his last breath on September 8, 2023. The finality of it was breathtaking. Because we spent everyday together but one for 25 years, I wondered, How will I live without Mylon? Is it possible to ever truly be happy again? I’m thankful to report, yes, it is! ONE step of faith forward each day led me out of the Valley of Weeping. That’s why I refer to the process as a journey in my new book released TODAY: Healed Heart, My Journey from Heartbreak to Wholeness. You may be thinking, who is this book for?

As I was pondering this three-year milestone, a friend reminded me of the significance of the number three in Hebrew. It means, harmony, new life, and completeness. We understand the importance of the number three for the Holy Trinity: God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. (Aren’t you thankful for the role each one provides?) My favorite #3 reference is, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day! I believe as we step over into this next chapter, get ready — newness of life will keep unfolding in greater measure!
In those early days, the enemy tried to make me feel insecure about the new thing God was doing in my life. I thought, Will people listen to what I have to say without Mylon by my side? I remember the moment I settled that my confidence is not in myself, it’s in Christ Jesus. It is HE who has made me an able minister of the New Covenant. (II Corinthians 3:4-5) His anointing is the ability within through which we can do all things. In Christ, I am enough. Guess what? You are too! I even wrote that phrase on a yellow sticky note in big black letters to remind me everyday, “You Are Enough.” If you’ve struggled with the same negative thinking, write your own sticky note but also say with me, “In Christ, I am enough!”

God is orchestrating divine completeness; whatever is broken He’s restoring and making whole. No matter the challenge, in Christ, you are enough. Amen, so be it!” Thank you, Jesus, our path is getting brighter every day.
